1. Using TrohnGrocery
TrohnGrocery is free to use. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
2. Prices are guidance, not promises
Prices come from three places: store feeds (like Kroger and Walmart), prices shared by shoppers (including receipt scans), and estimates marked "est.", based on what each chain typically charges. Any of these can be wrong, out of date, different in your store, or limited to members, coupons or certain days. Stores set their own prices. We don't sell groceries, and we aren't responsible for a store's price, stock or service. Check the shelf tag or receipt before you rely on a price.
3. Sharing prices and adding stores
When you share a price, scan a receipt or add a store, you agree it's accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you let us show it to everyone, store it and use it to run and improve TrohnGrocery. Don't share prices you made up, other people's personal information, or anything unlawful. We may remove anything that looks wrong or abusive, and limit or block anyone who misuses the service.
4. Points
Points thank you for sharing prices. They have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and may change or end. If we ever offer rewards for points, that offer will have its own rules.
5. Affiliate links and other sites
Some links go to stores or services like Walmart.com or Instacart, and we may earn a commission when you buy. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies. We aren't responsible for them or your purchases there.
6. Please don't
Don't use automated tools to copy prices or data from TrohnGrocery, overload or attack the service, or try to get around its limits.
7. Store names
Store names, brands and logos belong to their owners. TrohnGrocery isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any store unless we say so.
8. No warranty
TrohnGrocery is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will always be available, accurate or error-free.
9. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for money you spend or don't save based on prices in the app. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and keep using TrohnGrocery means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Please contact us first so we can try to sort out any problem. Nothing here takes away consumer rights you have where you live.
